In 1990, Master Jeweler Jay Garcia relocated his family and his business from New York to Port St. Lucie, bringing 10 years of experience with him. Today, Jay's Fine Jewelry us a two-generation, family owned and operated business that specializes in custom designs and offers a full-service repair department while focusing on outstanding customer service. 

Garcia is often asked by new customers, "Are you Jay?" and they are immediately pleased to learn that they are dealing directly with the man whose name is on the front door. In addition, his daughter, Jessica, started working in the store when she was just 13, helping wrap gifts during the Christmas season. Today, the 33-year-old is an integral part of the business, working side by side with her dad on everything from buying to bookkeeping and assisting customers, and she is poised to take over if and when Garcia decides to retire. 

Jay and Jessica- along with store manager Doris Piscopo and sales associate Lorraine Farley- offer their knowledge and expertise to customers who are looking for a special item or refurbishing a family heirloom to pass on to the next generation. Nothing pleases the family more than meeting and working with a second-generation customer who was referred by his or her parent. 

When it comes to custom designs, Jay is involved in every step of the process, from conception to the finished product. He starts with a rough drawn picture, then creates a wax mold, and finally casts the piece and sets any stones, careful to ensure the highest customer satisfaction. 

The fully equipped repair department at Jay's Fine Jewelry employs three master jewelers along with a certified Rolex technician, allowing the business to provide expert repair and watch service that is done on site. Jay's also provides same day service whenever possible. 

Its bridal department offers the latest looks from elegant classics to the chic halo design as well as diamonds in a variety of shapes, from round to pear to princess cut, at prices to fit every budget. Jay's recently had a bride-to-be bring in her mother's band after she had passed away. The woman requested a custom design using the stones from her mother's ring, saying it would make her feel like her mom would be with her on her wedding day. Being part of heartfelt stories such as this is just one reason why everyone at Jay's Fine Jewelry is driven to bring their best to work with them every single day. 

Jay is also an Accredited Jewelry Professional by the Gemological Institute of America, with an education in diamonds and gemology that allows him to offer certified jewelry insurance and estate appraisals. 

Because many of its customers are involved with local philanthropic efforts for schools, churches and nonprofit organizations, Jay's Fine Jewelry regularly donates gift certifications to benefit the community.

The goal of everyone at Jay's is to continue to offer the best in customer service while making sure all customers old and new will see their ideas brought to life to be worn again and again and passed down to future generations. 

 

It all started when…

Jay Garcia opened the store in 1995 in Saint Lucie West, Florida, while his daughter, Jessica, continues the legacy.

Jay had a vision of building and owning his own store and with the trust and loyalty of our many customers, Jay was able to realize his dream.

He is now able to design, repair and showcase classic and designer jewelry along with expanding his diamond and bridal selection. 

The business has grown and expanded over the years and today has three master jewelers, a certified Rolex technician, and highly qualified sales associates on-site.
